Dr. Mark Pothitakis, DDS

Dr. Mark Pothitakis has been practicing dentistry since 1992. A Fort Madison native, Dr. Mark graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and began his first dental practice in New London, Iowa. Over the years, he expanded his practice to serve patients throughout Southeast Iowa, building a reputation for exceptional care and dedication to his community.

Dr. Mark and his wife, Kara, are proud parents of five children and grandparents to two grandchildren, with another grandchild on the way. His passion for dentistry began with a desire to help people find relief from pain and gain confidence through healthy, beautiful smiles.

Providing outstanding care for his patients remains Dr. Mark’s highest priority. He is known for going above and beyond to ensure patients receive the treatment they need and has spent decades serving not only his patients but also his local community.

When he’s not in the office, you’ll most likely find Dr. Mark out on a walk, spending time with family, or planning his next trip. He enjoys exploring new destinations, trying new restaurants, and sharing great meals with the people he loves most. Whether at home or traveling, family time is at the center of everything he does.
